Time for climate action to move at startup speed!
Australian startups are in a unique position to get climate solutions out there fast. We have the brains, the terrains and – let’s face it – one of the hottest dates with destiny on the planet!
The EnviroTech Alliance (ETA) is a community of startup founders, professionals and advocates creating scalable solutions to the Climate Crisis and other the environmental issues.
Together we work to support a flourishing EnviroTech sector in Australia.
Our first event is an open meetup which brings together hundreds of startup founders and professionals solving for the environment so we can:
- map and measure the impact of our work on jobs and the economy and
- present a unified front governments and investors so we can advocate for greater support
Together we will exchange ideas, hacks and survival techniques and provide a supportive network and promotional platform for all participants. ETA 2030 – let’s go!

PROTEST . DIVEST . INVEST (more about us)
There are many working in the environmental space as change advocates and to help industry and governments reduce emissions and transition away from fossil fuel. Our focus is on the ‘INVEST’ side of the movement – supporting and promoting those working on scaleable solutions to attract greater support and resources. We recognise our work must occur in parallel to these broader efforts.
Led by TechSydney, The EnviroTech Alliance includes: SparkClub (Energytech), Fishburners (Australia’s largest startup community), Girl Geek Academy (a global movement for women in STEM) and Launch Group (leading startup and impact agency) with promotional support from SparkFestival.
