Meet Carly Stebbing of Resolution123!
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I am a lawyer, mum of 2 and founder of Resolution123, an online legal platform for employees.
Please tell us a little about Resolution123.
Vanouhi Nazarian and I have been working on our respective startups alongside each other at UTS Startups. We had been discussing the problem of wage theft and underpayments and how we could apply our employment law and accounting skill sets to solve the problem. WageChecker was born, it is software that picks up underpayment of minimum wages so that disputes can be quickly and simply resolved at the workplace.
What drew you to the Fishburners Fempowered program?
What’s not to love about a program designed to promote and encourage more women entrepreneurs? We are in the middle of a pink recession and yet the Government’s plan to get us out of it is blue. We know that when women are given opportunities they create opportunities for other women.
What about the next 6 months excites you, what are you looking forward to?
This is a chance for Vanouhi and I to create a solution to a problem that disproportionately affects women as award reliant employees. What better place to do that than in a female focused program!
What message would you like to send to the aspiring Women founders of Australia?
What better time than a recession to think about new solutions to old and new problems, to lean in and create opportunity. Your time is now.
