Our Story

The Fishburners story began in 2011, when Pete Davison and Mike Casey hatched a crazy idea. Mike was the cool young founder of successful Australian startup, GradConnection. He wanted to work alongside other ambitious movers-and-shakers as his team brought their big vision for GradConnection to life.

Pete was a former VC, and an early investor in Paypal – a wandering capitalist seadog looking to be a part of something bigger than himself once more.

Our Community

Fishburners is driven by our startups founders and community. In the beginning, our members would run the space and since then our members needs are always put first.

We support the ‘get shit done’ attitude of our members and the collective power of people to instigate change.

Our focus is on building and strengthening our community and we challenge the status quo in an effort to innovate and empower our growing tech startups.
